A tall, condensed display face with sharply tapered strokes and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Many terminals come to needle-like points, with occasional ragged, torn-looking edges that suggest distressed ink or a cut-paper texture. Curves are narrow and tensioned, counters are compact, and several letters show asymmetrical joins and slight irregularities that keep the rhythm lively. Spacing appears tight and vertical, with variable character widths and a distinctly display-oriented silhouette.

Best suited for headlines and short bursts of text where the sharp contrast and distressed detailing can be appreciated—such as horror and thriller titling, Halloween promotions, dark-themed event posters, book and game covers, and album artwork. It can also work for logos or wordmarks that want an intentionally unsettling, hand-crafted edge, but is less appropriate for long-form reading at small sizes.

The overall tone is eerie and dramatic, blending gothic sharpness with a scratchy, haunted texture. It reads as expressive and slightly menacing rather than neutral, evoking horror titles, occult ephemera, and dark-fantasy theatrics. The thin spikes and distressed breaks add a sense of unease and motion, like lettering pulled from a vintage scare poster.

The design appears intended to deliver a cinematic, horror-leaning voice through condensed proportions, aggressive pointed terminals, and controlled irregularities that mimic worn print or scratchy hand lettering. Its consistent vertical emphasis and textured finishing suggest a display font built to create atmosphere quickly in titles and branding.

Uppercase forms feel particularly blade-like in letters with diagonals and pointed arches, while lowercase maintains the same tense, pinched construction for a cohesive voice. Numerals follow the same narrow, high-contrast logic, making them suitable as part of the same headline system. The distressed details are noticeable at larger sizes and may soften or fill in when reduced.
