A condensed, hand-drawn roman with tall proportions and lively, uneven stroke edges that read like dry-brush ink on rough paper. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation with occasional tapering terminals and small burrs, creating a slightly scratchy silhouette. Curves are narrow and upright, counters stay relatively tight, and spacing feels irregular in an intentional, organic way. Uppercase forms are simple and narrow; lowercase mixes compact bowls with long, looped descenders (notably in g, j, y), adding vertical rhythm in text.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, titles, book or zine covers, packaging labels, and album artwork where the distressed texture can be appreciated. It also works well for themed branding (artisan, vintage, Halloween/occult-adjacent, or rustic concepts) and for short pull quotes or signage-style lines rather than long, continuous reading.

The overall tone is handmade and timeworn, suggesting printed ephemera, folk signage, or storybook lettering. Its rough texture and narrow stance give it an energetic, slightly eccentric voice that feels informal and human rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to capture the look of narrow hand-lettering with imperfect inking—combining condensed proportions, strong contrast, and distressed edges to deliver a characterful, handcrafted impression in display typography.

Texture remains consistent across letters and numerals, with small variations that enhance authenticity without becoming chaotic. The narrow set and high contrast can make dense passages feel busy, but the distinctive contours help headings and short phrases stand out.
