A high-contrast serif with sharp, wedge-like terminals and pronounced thick–thin modulation across both roman caps and lowercase. The serifs are largely bracketed and taper to pointed ends, giving strokes a crisp, chiseled finish rather than slabby blocks. Capitals show classical proportions with a slightly flared presence on verticals and clean, controlled curves; the C/G/O family is round but tightly drawn. Lowercase forms are compact and sturdy, with a two-storey a, a narrow, beaked f, and a ball-like terminal on the j; counters stay fairly tight, supporting a dense, print-oriented texture. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif treatment, mixing straight spines with curved, tapered entries and exits for a traditional lining-figure feel.

Well-suited to book typography, long-form editorial layouts, and magazine work where a classic serif texture is desired. It also performs well for refined headlines, subheads, and brand identities that want a traditional, high-contrast voice without departing from conventional text-serif shapes.

The overall tone is traditional and editorial, projecting seriousness and polish with a slightly dramatic contrast that reads as premium and literary. Its sharp terminals and disciplined rhythm lend an authoritative, old-world voice suited to established brands and print-forward typography.

The design appears intended as a contemporary take on a traditional print serif: familiar proportions and readable constructions paired with more dramatic contrast and sharpened terminals to increase elegance and presence.

Spacing appears moderate with a firm baseline and a consistent, slightly condensed rhythm that keeps words compact in running text. The stroke contrast is strong enough to create sparkle at display sizes while still maintaining recognizable, conventional letterforms for text settings.
