A compact serif with slender proportions and a calligraphic, flared finish. Strokes stay generally even but subtly swell into tapered or flared terminals, and serifs are small and delicately bracketed rather than blocky. Curves are smooth and slightly egg-shaped, with narrow apertures and a restrained rhythm that keeps lines of text tidy. Uppercase forms feel stately and open, while the lowercase is compact with a modest x-height and pronounced ascenders/descenders; details like the ear on “g” and the angled leg of “R” add a lightly traditional texture. Numerals are similarly narrow and elegant, with fine terminals and clear differentiation.

Well suited to editorial typography—book interiors, essays, magazine features, and cultural or academic communications—especially where a compact measure is helpful. It also performs nicely for refined headings, pull quotes, and cover titling where the flared terminals can add personality without heavy decoration.

The overall tone is literary and classical, evoking traditional book typography with a hint of hand-drawn warmth. Its flared endings and refined serifs give it a cultivated, slightly old-world character that feels appropriate for editorial and institutional voices without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to bridge traditional serif conventions with subtle calligraphic flair, delivering a compact, readable texture for text while retaining enough distinctive detailing to elevate display use.

In text, the narrow set and compact lowercase create an efficient, column-friendly color, while the flared terminals add sparkle at larger sizes. The design reads cleanly but rewards closer viewing through small calligraphic inflections in joins and endings.
