A high-contrast serif with sturdy vertical stems and very thin hairlines that create a crisp, engraved rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and sharply finished, with delicate linking strokes in letters like n, m, and h that emphasize the contrast. Counters are moderately open while joins and crossbars stay refined and narrow, giving the face a compact internal texture despite its broad, emphatic capitals. Several glyphs show decorative terminal behavior—such as the teardrop/ball-ended forms on g and y and a gently swashed Q tail—adding a slightly ornamental finish to an otherwise conventional text-serif structure.
