A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flaring stroke endings and bracketed serifs that feel gently “pulled” from the stems. The letterforms show a vertical, upright posture with sharp joins and tapered terminals, producing a crisp rhythm across both capitals and lowercase. Curves are smooth and slightly calligraphic, with pronounced thick–thin transitions in bowls and diagonals; counters stay open and legible while the overall color remains refined rather than heavy. Numerals and capitals carry a stately, editorial presence, and the lowercase maintains a balanced, traditional proportion without appearing condensed or extended.

It performs especially well in editorial settings such as magazine typography, book titles, and section heads where contrast and refinement are desirable. The pronounced detailing also makes it a strong choice for branding, packaging, and display typography that needs a classic, premium voice without becoming ornate.

The font conveys a classic, literary tone—polished and authoritative with a touch of old-style warmth. Its sharp contrast and flared finishing details add elegance and a slightly dramatic voice, making it feel suited to established, premium contexts rather than casual ones.

The design appears aimed at combining traditional serif readability with more expressive, flared stroke endings for added sophistication. It balances a conventional upright structure with sculpted terminals to create a text-and-display serif that feels both familiar and distinctly finished.

Capitals are commanding with strong vertical stress, while round forms (like O/C/G) show clean, controlled contrast and tapered terminals. Several lowercase forms display distinctive, slightly calligraphic terminals and a lively baseline presence, supporting reading while adding personality at larger sizes.
