This serif features pronounced thick–thin modulation with a crisp, calligraphic stress and very fine hairlines. Serifs are sharp and tapered, often forming pointed, wedge-like feet and spurs that give strokes a slightly spiky finish. The overall build is compact and vertical, with tight apertures and a disciplined rhythm; curves are clean and controlled, and joins stay crisp rather than soft. Lowercase shows a relatively modest x-height with tall ascenders/descenders, while figures follow the same contrasty, sculpted logic for a cohesive text-and-display color.

It works well for editorial typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, and fashion or culture features where contrast and refinement are desirable. The sharp detailing also suits book covers, event posters, and brand-led headlines that want a classic voice with a decorative twist. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable when set at sizes that preserve the thin strokes and give the counters room to breathe.

The tone is elegant and slightly theatrical, balancing bookish tradition with a more stylized, decorative edge. Its sharp terminals and high contrast create a sense of sophistication and precision, suitable for settings that want to feel curated and upscale. The overall impression is classic and editorial, with enough bite to read as distinctive rather than purely neutral.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a traditional high-contrast serif with extra sharpened serifs and slightly ornamental terminals, creating a more characterful take on an editorial workhorse. It aims to deliver sophistication and vertical poise while adding distinctive, display-friendly edge.

The uppercase reads particularly stately, with slender verticals and crisp finishing details that become more expressive at larger sizes. In text, the strong contrast and narrow internal spaces create a lively texture that benefits from generous sizing and comfortable line spacing.
