This typeface is a high‑contrast serif with sculpted, flaring stroke endings that read as wedge-like serifs rather than blunt slabs. Curves are smooth and generously proportioned, while joins and terminals show a subtle calligraphic logic—stems expand into tapered, triangular feet and arms. Uppercase forms feel stately and slightly wide in their internal space, with crisp apexes on A/V/W and a round, balanced O. The lowercase maintains a steady rhythm with clear, open counters; details like the ear on g, the curved tail on y, and the bracketed shaping on n/m give the text a lively, traditional texture. Numerals match the contrast and flare, with elegant, old-style-like modulation and prominent weight shifts in bowls and diagonals.

Well suited for editorial typography such as magazine features, book jackets, and chapter openings where contrast and character can be showcased. It also works for premium branding, invitations, and cultural or academic communications that benefit from a classical, high-end serif presence.

The overall tone is elegant and cultivated, with a poised, bookish authority. Its sharp contrast and flared detailing add a touch of drama and ceremony, making it feel at home in refined, heritage-leaning settings rather than purely utilitarian ones.

The design appears intended to combine classical serif proportions with a distinctive flared, chiseled finish, delivering an elegant reading texture with added personality. It prioritizes refinement and contrast for strong typographic voice in both display and larger text settings.

In text, the strong thick–thin pattern produces a bright page color with pronounced vertical emphasis, while the flared terminals prevent the design from feeling overly mechanical. The punctuation and shapes remain crisp at display sizes, and the letterforms keep a consistent classical voice across caps, lowercase, and figures.
