A very heavy, right-leaning serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, bracketed serifs. The letterforms show a calligraphic, engraved-like construction: verticals are weighty, hairlines are sharp, and many joins finish in teardrop/ball terminals. Curves are generous and rounded, counters are relatively tight, and the overall rhythm is energetic, with noticeable slant and lively stroke endings. Figures and capitals carry the same bold contrast and sculpted terminals, giving the design a cohesive, display-forward texture.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and newspaper-style editorial design, posters, and branding moments that benefit from a bold, classic serif with strong emphasis. It can work for short pull quotes or large-size subheads where the high contrast and decorative terminals can be appreciated without crowding.

The tone is assertive and theatrical while still rooted in familiar bookish tradition. Its sweeping italic stance and ornamental terminals add a slightly vintage, headline-ready flair that feels formal, expressive, and confident rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened drama—combining sturdy, dark strokes with sharp contrast and expressive italic movement to create impact in display typography while retaining familiar serif conventions.

At larger sizes the detailing in terminals and serifs reads clearly and adds character, while dense strokes and tighter counters create a dark color in paragraphs. The italic emphasis is strong enough to feel like a primary voice for headlines or punchy short text rather than a subtle companion style.
