A chunky slab-serif display face with broad proportions, compact counters, and strongly squared shoulders. Serifs read as heavy, bracketed slabs that merge into the stems, creating a dense, continuous silhouette with minimal internal air. Terminals and joins show small notch-like cut-ins that behave like ink traps or stenciled bites, adding texture without breaking the letterforms. The lowercase is compact and sturdy, with single-storey forms (notably a and g), a short-armed t, and a robust, rectangular rhythm that holds together tightly in lines of text. Numerals are equally weighty and block-leaning, designed to match the same solid, poster-oriented color.

Best suited to display applications such as posters, headlines, event graphics, storefront-style signage, and bold packaging. It can also work for logo wordmarks where a sturdy, vintage-leaning slab presence is desired, especially in short phrases and large-scale settings.

The overall tone feels bold and theatrical, evoking classic Western signage and mid-century poster typography. Its dark massing and decorative notches give it a confident, slightly playful swagger, suited to attention-grabbing headlines and branding with a nostalgic edge.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum visual weight and a memorable silhouette, combining slab-serif structure with small cut-in details to keep dense strokes from feeling flat. It prioritizes impact and character over long-form readability, aiming for a classic, sign-inspired display voice.

Spacing appears intentionally tight and the counters are small, so the face reads best when given room (larger sizes, generous leading, or slightly loosened tracking). The small interior cut-ins become a defining detail at display sizes, contributing to a crafted, sign-painted impression rather than a neutral text texture.
