A heavy, monolinear serif design with clear typewriter construction and consistent fixed-width spacing. Strokes are thick and blunt, with softened slab-like terminals and lightly bracketed joins that give counters a rounded, slightly swollen feel. The outlines show purposeful irregularity—wobbly edges, uneven inking, and small nicks—creating a worn, printed texture while keeping letterforms highly legible. Uppercase proportions are sturdy and compact, and the lowercase maintains straightforward, workmanlike shapes with a single-storey “g” and simple, open counters.

Well-suited to headlines, title treatments, and short-to-medium passages where a typewritten, worn impression is desirable—such as book covers, posters, zines, and editorial pull quotes. It can also work for branding accents or packaging that benefits from an analog, stamped/printed feel.

The overall tone feels archival and tactile, like a well-used ribbon striking paper with uneven pressure. It conveys a utilitarian, no-nonsense voice with a hint of grit—suggesting documents, evidence, and analog production rather than polished digital minimalism.

The design appears intended to emulate mechanical type impressions with a deliberately imperfect ink texture, delivering a dependable monospaced rhythm while adding age and materiality. Its sturdy serifs and softened edges aim for legibility first, then character through wear and irregularity.

The numerals and caps read as especially robust, with strong silhouettes that hold up well under the distressed texture. The consistent rhythm of monospacing is prominent in running text, where the rough ink effect adds character without obscuring word shapes.
