This is an italic serif with a pronounced rightward slant and a calligraphic, humanist construction. Strokes show moderate thick–thin modulation with smoothly bracketed serifs and tapered terminals that keep joins and curves lively rather than rigid. Capitals are relatively open and slightly wide in feel, with crisp, classic proportions and angled stroke endings that reinforce the italic movement. Lowercase forms are compact and rhythmic, with single-storey a and g, a gently looped descender on y, and an overall flowing texture that reads continuous in words. Numerals appear as oldstyle figures, mixing ascenders and descenders to blend naturally into text.

Well suited for editorial typography where an italic voice is needed: emphasis within long-form reading, book and magazine layouts, captions, and refined pull quotes. It also works effectively for literary or classical titling, especially where a warm, traditional italic texture is desirable.

The font conveys a bookish, cultivated tone—elegant without being flashy. Its italic energy feels conversational and expressive, suggesting traditional publishing and classical typography rather than contemporary minimalism.

The design appears intended as a conventional, highly readable serif italic that carries the warmth of calligraphic writing into structured text typography. Its balanced contrast, bracketed serifs, and oldstyle numerals suggest an aim toward comfortable reading and tasteful emphasis in editorial contexts.

The spacing and letterfit produce a smooth, slightly dark text color at display sizes, while the tapered serifs and angled terminals help maintain clarity in dense lines. Curves are generously drawn, and diagonal strokes (notably in v, w, x, y) emphasize a lively, handwritten influence within a disciplined serif framework.
