A heavy, serifed display face with compact proportions and sturdy stems, rendered with deliberately rough, broken edges and intermittent interior voids that mimic worn ink or distressed printing. Stroke contrast is noticeable, with thicker verticals and finer connecting strokes, while terminals and serifs stay relatively simple and bracket-free. The distressing is consistent across the set, creating speckled cutouts and scuffed contours that soften counters and occasionally nick corners, producing an uneven texture without losing the underlying letter skeleton.

Best suited to short, attention-grabbing text where texture is an asset: posters, headlines, apparel graphics, packaging, and music or event promotion. It can also work for brand marks or section headers when an aged, printed-on look is desired; for longer passages, the distressing may reduce comfort at smaller sizes.

The overall tone is gritty and aged, like ink that has been dragged across paper, stamped, or eroded over time. It reads as energetic and slightly mischievous, balancing a traditional serif structure with a raw, imperfect surface that feels handmade and tactile.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif silhouette with an intentionally degraded surface, evoking worn print, stamped lettering, or ink that has chipped and bled. Its goal is to add instant character and tactility while keeping letterforms familiar enough to read quickly in display contexts.

Uppercase forms are broad and authoritative, while the lowercase keeps a friendly rhythm with clear bowls and open apertures despite the internal wear. Numerals follow the same distressed treatment and remain recognizable at display sizes, though the texture becomes the dominant feature as size increases.
