A strongly slanted serif with weighty stems and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Serifs are compact and mostly bracketed, with wedge-like entries and exits that read as carved rather than mechanistic. Curves are full and rounded, with occasional ball-like terminals and tapered joins that add a faint calligraphic pull. The lowercase is sturdy and compact, with a traditional two-storey "g" and a hooked "f"; numerals are equally bold and slightly oldstyle in feel, maintaining the same energetic contrast and forward motion.

Best suited to display settings where its bold contrast and italic momentum can lead the eye—magazine and newspaper-style headlines, book and film titles, packaging, and brand marks. It can also work for short editorial pull quotes or section openers where a classic yet energetic serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is confident and traditional, with a punchy, headline-ready presence. Its pronounced slant and sculpted detailing give it a lively, slightly theatrical flavor that recalls vintage editorial and display typography more than quiet, neutral text faces.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened drama and motion, combining familiar oldstyle structures with amplified contrast and a strong italic stance for attention-grabbing typography.

Stroke endings often sharpen into small wedges, and counters stay open despite the heavy weight, helping the forms remain legible at larger sizes. The rhythm is emphatic and slightly bouncy due to the strong italic angle and varied internal shapes, which adds character in words and short lines.
