A sturdy serif with pronounced stroke contrast and softly bracketed serifs that flare into rounded, slightly bulbous terminals. Forms are generally upright but retain a hand-made irregularity: curves are subtly lumpy, joins are softened, and counters vary a bit from glyph to glyph, producing a textured color on the line. Capitals are broad and somewhat condensed in places with strong vertical stress, while lowercase features compact bowls and a modest x-height relative to tall ascenders. Overall spacing feels generous and the outlines read as deliberately organic rather than mechanically uniform.

It performs well where a strong, characterful serif is needed—display typography, posters, packaging, and book-cover titling. In longer text it can work for short editorial passages or pull quotes when a warm, old-style atmosphere is desired, though its textured outlines make it more distinctive than a neutral reading face.

The font conveys a vintage, bookish tone—part classic serif, part hand-printed charm. Its dark, inky presence and slightly quirky details suggest editorial nostalgia, folklore, and traditional craft rather than sleek modernity.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif structure with deliberately hand-worked details, creating an old-fashioned, print-like voice that feels crafted and slightly whimsical while staying legible.

Distinctive rounded terminals appear on several letters (notably in curved strokes), and the numerals and lowercase echo the same softened, slightly uneven drawing. The texture becomes more apparent in paragraph settings, where the irregularities add character while remaining readable.
