A sharply contrasted serif with extremely narrow proportions and a distinctly vertical posture. Stems are dark and dominant, while connecting strokes and joins snap to hairlines, creating an intense light–dark rhythm. Serifs are pointed and wedge-like with frequent flaring, giving many letters a spiky, sculpted silhouette; curves (notably in C, G, S, and O) feel tightly drawn and slightly pinched. The lowercase keeps a conventional x-height but reads compact due to the compressed widths, with tall ascenders/descenders and crisp, tapered terminals that heighten the decorative edge. Numerals follow the same vertical, high-contrast logic and appear designed for display more than text sizes.

Best suited to headlines, titling, and short bursts of text where its narrow footprint and high contrast can add impact without overwhelming readability. It works well for magazine covers, fashion or culture editorial, theatrical posters, and brand wordmarks that want a formal but distinctive serif voice.

The overall tone is dramatic and theatrical, with a fashion-editorial sharpness that feels formal and attention-seeking. Its narrow, razor-edged detailing suggests elegance with a slightly gothic or poster-like intensity rather than quiet, bookish neutrality.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic high-contrast serif through a condensed, decorative lens, emphasizing sharp serifs, flared strokes, and a dramatic vertical rhythm for display use. Its detailing prioritizes character and presence over long-form comfort.

In setting, the tight sidebearings and strong stroke contrast create a striking vertical texture that can look dense in paragraphs but powerful in headlines. The spurred, triangular serif treatment is a defining motif across caps, lowercase, and figures, helping the design maintain a consistent, deliberately stylized identity.
