A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp hairlines, showing a distinctly calligraphic construction. Serifs are fine and mostly bracketed, with tapered entry and exit strokes that keep the outlines crisp even where strokes become very thin. The fit is relatively open and rhythmic, with generous curves in rounds and a slightly springy baseline feel from the italic motion. Lowercase forms lean on flowing joins and long, smooth arches, while capitals keep a restrained, classical silhouette with subtly flared terminals and clean internal spaces.

Well suited to editorial typography—magazines, essays, and book interiors—where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, quotations, or sophisticated tone-setting. It can also serve in refined branding, packaging, and formal invitations when a classic serif italic is desired, and it holds up nicely for pull quotes and larger-size settings where its hairlines and curves can be appreciated.

The overall tone reads polished and literary, with a refined, old-world sophistication. Its italic energy adds motion and expressiveness without becoming decorative, lending a sense of editorial authority and tasteful luxury.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional text-serif italic with heightened elegance: crisp hairlines, controlled contrast, and a smooth, calligraphic rhythm that reads as both traditional and cultivated in continuous text.

The numerals follow the same high-contrast, angled logic, with elegant curves and delicate finishing strokes that suit text and display alike. In running text, the consistent diagonal stress and slender serifs create a bright texture, while the italic slant helps maintain forward momentum across longer lines.
