A tightly condensed display face built from towering vertical stems and strong, graphic masses of black punctuated by razor-thin hairline cut-ins. Stroke contrast is extreme, with flat, slab-like terminals and occasional diagonal incisions that read like stylized pen lifts or carved notches. Counters are narrow and tall, with a consistent vertical rhythm that makes the alphabet feel columnar and architectural. Numerals follow the same logic, pairing heavy blocks with delicate internal slices for a sharp, poster-ready silhouette.

Best suited to large sizes where its hairline incisions and internal slits can resolve cleanly—posters, mastheads, cover art, and statement branding. It can also work for short editorial display lines when a dramatic, gothic atmosphere is desired, but its dense vertical rhythm makes it less comfortable for extended text.

The overall tone is dark and ceremonial, evoking gothic signage and vintage horror or cabaret posters. Its severe verticality and knife-edge details create a sense of tension and spectacle, lending headlines an authoritative, slightly ominous voice.

The design appears intended to fuse a classic gothic sensibility with a modern, ultra-condensed display structure. By combining heavy, poster-like stems with precise hairline cuts, it aims to deliver maximum impact and a carved, theatrical texture in headline settings.

Spacing appears tuned for display, with dense word shapes and prominent vertical patterning. The most distinctive signature is the repeated use of hairline diagonals and slit-like interior breaks, which add a hand-cut, engraved feel while keeping the forms rigid and disciplined.
