This typeface is a high-contrast serif italic with sharply tapered entry and exit strokes and clearly bracketed serifs. Stems are slender while curves and stressed strokes swell noticeably, producing a pronounced diagonal stress typical of an italic text face. Letterforms are moderately narrow with lively, varied widths and a flowing rhythm; counters stay open and clean despite the strong modulation. The lowercase shows a single-storey a and g and an italic f with a descending tail, reinforcing the calligraphic construction.

It performs best for italic roles in long-form typography—emphasis within books, editorial articles, and magazine layouts—where its contrast and rhythm can add hierarchy without overpowering the page. It also suits pull quotes, forewords, captions, and refined branding lines that need a classical, cultured italic.

The overall tone is refined and literary, with a classical, bookish elegance. Its crisp contrast and energetic slant give it a confident, formal voice suited to cultured, editorial settings rather than utilitarian UI text.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with a calligraphic foundation: strong stroke modulation, bracketed serifs, and a steady reading rhythm. Its goal seems to be providing a polished, traditional italic companion for editorial and literary composition.

Capitals read as dignified and sculpted, pairing sharp apexes and terminals with controlled curves. Numerals follow the same contrast and italic movement, with distinctive shapes that feel designed to harmonize with text rather than behave as neutral lining figures.
