This typeface is a high-contrast serif with crisp hairlines and weighty verticals, producing a strong thick–thin rhythm across both capitals and lowercase. Stems and serifs often broaden into subtly flared endings, giving many letters a tapered, sculpted finish rather than purely rectangular serifs. Capitals are stately and relatively wide with sharp apexes (notably in A and V) and clean, open counters, while the lowercase shows a traditional serif structure with a two-storey a and g, compact bowls, and pronounced stroke modulation. Numerals follow the same contrast model, with delicate joins and pointed terminals that keep the figures lively and formal.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, pull quotes, magazine titles, and book or album covers where its contrast and flared details can be appreciated. It can also work well for luxury and cultural branding—logotypes, packaging, invitations, and campaign graphics—especially when paired with a quieter text face for longer reading.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a fashion-editorial kind of drama driven by the contrast and razor-thin details. It reads as classic and authoritative, but the flared terminals add a slightly contemporary, bespoke edge that feels suited to premium branding and refined print settings.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized classic serif voice: traditional letterforms and proportions paired with dramatic contrast and subtly flared endings to create a distinctive, high-end presence in display settings.

Fine hairlines, small interior connections, and pointed terminals become prominent at larger sizes, where the design’s sharpness and sculpted endings are most legible. At smaller sizes, the extreme contrast and delicate horizontals may require careful sizing and sufficient printing or screen rendering to preserve detail.
