A compact display serif with a strongly vertical stance and a dense, dark texture. Strokes are built from straight segments with pronounced chamfers and notched joins, creating crisp corners and octagonal-like counters in round letters. Many glyphs show forked/spurred terminals and mid-stem nicks that resemble ink-trap cuts, adding bite and mechanical rhythm. Proportions are tight with short extenders and fairly uniform cap heights, giving lines a blocky, poster-like presence.

Best suited to headlines, logos/wordmarks, posters, labels, and packaging where a strong, compact serif can read as both traditional and hard-edged. It also works well for short pull quotes or titling in themed layouts that want a gothic/industrial accent, but its dense detailing is likely to feel heavy in small body sizes.

The tone reads gothic and industrial at once—stern, historic, and slightly menacing, with a vintage sign-painting and old print flavor. The sharp cuts and spurs push it toward a commanding, declarative voice suited to emphatic headlines rather than gentle editorial reading.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, carved and stamped look by combining classic serif structure with chamfered geometry and ornamental spurs. The repeated notches and forked terminals suggest a deliberate strategy to add texture and historical character while preserving a rigid, poster-ready rhythm.

Uppercase forms feel especially architectural, with squared-off curves and consistent chamfer logic across the alphabet. The lowercase carries the same cut-in detailing, which increases texture in longer text and makes spacing and counters feel more compressed. Numerals match the angular construction, staying sturdy and emblematic in silhouette.
