A rough, brush-driven display face with jagged terminals and irregular contours that mimic dry-brush ink and torn edges. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin contrast and frequent tapering, with many letterforms featuring sharp hooks, spikes, and occasional drip-like descenders. Counters are small and uneven, and curves are slightly distorted, producing a restless rhythm across words. Spacing and widths feel intentionally inconsistent, reinforcing an expressive, hand-rendered texture in both uppercase and lowercase.

Best suited to large display settings where the distressed edges and high contrast can be appreciated—such as horror/thriller titles, posters, album or podcast artwork, haunted attraction promos, and game or streaming overlays. It can also work for short, punchy packaging callouts or chapter headers, but extended body copy will feel noisy and uneven.

The overall tone is dark and theatrical, with a distressed energy that reads as eerie and aggressive. Its scratchy, ink-smeared texture suggests suspense, danger, and a DIY intensity rather than polish or refinement. The voice is attention-seeking and moody, leaning toward horror and thriller atmospheres.

The design appears intended to simulate expressive, imperfect brush lettering with deliberate wear and tearing, creating a visceral, suspenseful impact. Its irregular rhythm and sharp terminals prioritize mood and texture over typographic neutrality, aiming to deliver instant genre signaling and headline-level drama.

Uppercase forms tend to be more emblematic and spiky, while lowercase includes narrow, tall ascenders and occasional exaggerated descenders that add vertical drama in text. Numerals keep the same rough brush texture, with simplified shapes that prioritize character over uniformity. At smaller sizes the distressed edges can visually fill in, so it reads best when given enough size and contrast.
