A distressed serif with irregular, inked contours and softly blunted terminals that mimic worn letterpress or brushy stamp impressions. Strokes show subtle swelling and tapering with uneven edge bite, creating a mottled silhouette rather than crisp outlines. Serifs are present but inconsistent and rounded, with occasional spur-like nicks and asymmetries that give each letter a slightly individual, hand-cut feel. Overall spacing and widths vary perceptibly across the set, reinforcing an organic, imperfect rhythm in text.

Well-suited for display typography where texture is part of the message: book covers, event posters, artisanal packaging, café menus, labels, and branding elements that want a vintage or handcrafted imprint. In longer passages it will create a strong, grainy color on the page, so it’s best used for headlines, short blurbs, and pull quotes where its character can remain clear.

The font conveys an old-world, handmade charm—part vintage print, part whimsical craft. Its roughened edges and lively irregularities feel friendly and slightly mischievous rather than harsh, suggesting nostalgia, folklore, and artisanal authenticity.

The design appears intended to simulate imperfect printing or hand-inked lettering while retaining a recognizable serif structure for readability. Its controlled irregularities suggest a curated distressed effect—aimed at adding warmth, age, and tactile personality to otherwise traditional letterforms.

Capitals carry a decorative, classical flavor (notably the rounded, open counter shapes and occasional exaggerated curves), while lowercase maintains a compact, textured texture that reads best at display sizes. Numerals follow the same distressed logic, with uneven curves and softened corners that keep them visually consistent with the letters.
