A decorative serif with a deliberately irregular, distressed finish. Stems and bowls are mostly classical in structure, but edges are chipped and torn with splinter-like protrusions that break the outlines and create lively texture. Serifs range from wedge-like to abruptly clipped, and curves often show small notches and bite marks that add a rough, hand-worked feel. Overall proportions stay readable, while the surface noise varies glyph to glyph, giving the face a restless rhythm and slightly uneven color in text.

Best suited to display applications where the distressed character can be appreciated: posters, title treatments, packaging, and cover work. It can also work for short quotes or pull lines when you want an antique-yet-offbeat tone, but the rough detailing makes it less ideal for long body copy at small sizes.

The font reads as mischievous and theatrical, mixing old-style bookish forms with a gritty, scraped treatment. Its roughened details suggest worn print, eerie ephemera, or DIY props—more playful than truly ominous, but with a clear gothic-leaning edge.

The design appears intended to take familiar serif letterforms and inject them with intentional damage and irregularity, creating a one-off, characterful voice that feels aged, handmade, and slightly macabre while remaining broadly readable.

In longer settings the distressed contours create noticeable texture and sparkle, especially around terminals and serifs, so spacing and size will strongly affect legibility. Uppercase characters tend to carry more dramatic breakage and ornamental bite marks, while lowercase remains comparatively straightforward, supporting short text use.
