A high-contrast serif with slender hairlines and more substantial verticals, featuring gently flared terminals that widen as strokes meet the baseline and serif points. Curves are smooth and open, with teardrop-like finishing on some joins and a crisp, clean overall drawing that keeps counters generous. Proportions feel traditional and measured: capitals are stately with sharp apexes and bracketed transitions, while lowercase maintains a balanced x-height and a slightly animated rhythm from the tapered strokes and flaring. Numerals match the text color well, with clear forms and strong contrast that reads confidently at display and text sizes.

It works especially well for magazine and newspaper typography, book interiors, and literary packaging where a refined serif tone is desirable. The strong contrast and crisp details also make it effective for headlines, pull quotes, and upscale branding or invitation-style materials, provided reproduction is clean enough to preserve the hairlines.

The font projects a composed, cultured tone—bookish and editorial rather than technical. Its flared endings and calligraphic modulation add a subtle sense of craft, giving it an elevated, classic voice suited to premium and narrative contexts.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif structure with a more expressive, flared stroke ending, producing an elegant texture that feels crafted without becoming ornate. It aims for readability in continuous text while retaining enough distinctive detailing to carry display settings with sophistication.

The texture in paragraphs appears even but lively, with noticeable sparkle from the thin hairlines and crisp serifs. Rounded letters (like o/c/e) stay open and readable, while diagonals (v/w/x/y) have sharp, neatly finished terminals that reinforce the refined character.
