A high-contrast serif with sharply tapered hairlines and thick, sculpted main strokes. Serifs are bracketing and wedge-like, often finishing in pointed beaks that give terminals a crisp, chiseled feel. Uppercase forms are stately and compact with pronounced modulation; round letters (C, O, Q) show elegant thinning at the joins and a distinct, calligraphic stress. Lowercase has a sturdy, slightly compact rhythm with a two-storey a and g, tight apertures, and energetic entry/exit strokes that create a lively texture at text sizes. Numerals follow the same dramatic contrast with refined, delicate joins and prominent serifs.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and book titling, pull quotes, and other editorial applications where strong contrast and sharp serif detailing can carry the composition. It also fits premium branding and packaging that benefits from a refined, high-impact serif voice, especially at medium-to-large sizes.

The overall tone is polished and theatrical, combining classic bookish authority with a contemporary, fashion-forward sharpness. Its strong modulation and pointed detailing read as premium and intentional, lending a sense of luxury and headline drama rather than quiet neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern take on a classical high-contrast text serif, emphasizing dramatic stroke modulation and crisp, wedge-like terminals for a distinctive, upscale presence in display-led typography.

In dense settings the sharp beaks and narrow counters create a dark, assertive color; spacing appears tuned for display and short text runs where the crisp detailing can be appreciated. The design maintains a consistent contrast model across caps, lowercase, and figures, with particularly distinctive terminals on E/F/T and the diagonals of K/V/W/X/Y.
