The forms are compact and weighty, with sturdy vertical stems, taut curves, and tight apertures that create a dense, ink-rich rhythm. Round letters show crisp stress and clean terminals; the lowercase has a traditional, slightly compact build with ball/teardrop-like terminals in places and a distinct, looped two-storey g. Numerals follow the same sculpted, contrasty logic and sit confidently alongside the capitals.

Well suited to headlines, decks, and pull quotes where a classic serif voice is desired and the strong contrast can be appreciated. It also fits book and magazine applications—particularly covers and section openers—where a dense, authoritative typographic color helps establish hierarchy.
