A heavy, assertive slab serif with broad proportions and minimal stroke modulation. The serifs are thick and mostly squared-off with subtle bracketing, giving joins and terminals a planted, architectural feel. Counters stay fairly open for the weight, while curves (notably in C, G, O, Q) are smoothly rounded against the otherwise blocky silhouette. Spacing and rhythm read solid and even in text, with a strong baseline presence and clear, square punctuation-like endings on many strokes.

Best suited to headline typography where weight and presence are needed—posters, large-format editorial titles, branding marks, and packaging panels. It can work for short to medium blocks of text when a strong, retro slab voice is desired, but the heavy color will dominate at smaller sizes.

The overall tone is confident and workmanlike, with a vintage editorial flavor reminiscent of display slabs used for headlines and signage. Its heavy slabs and broad stance project reliability and a no-nonsense voice, while the rounded bowls keep it approachable rather than severe.

Designed to deliver maximum impact with a stable, wide footprint and unapologetically strong slabs. The intention appears to be clear, high-contrast-in-size readability and a classic display character that holds up in bold messaging and prominent labels.

Uppercase forms feel especially poster-ready, with a robust T and E and a wide, stable O; the Q’s tail is short and unobtrusive. Numerals are similarly hefty and simplified, matching the font’s chunky geometry and maintaining consistent color in running text.
