A heavy, high-impact serif with irregular, distressed contours and occasional interior nicks that suggest rough printing or worn letterpress forms. Strokes are chunky with abrupt tapers and notched joins, creating a jittery edge rhythm while keeping a solid, upright silhouette. Serifs read as blunt wedges rather than delicate brackets, and counters are compact, sometimes partially occluded by texture, which increases overall density. Spacing and widths feel slightly uneven across glyphs, reinforcing an intentionally imperfect, hand-worked texture in both caps and lowercase.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, title treatments, labels, and packaging where texture is a feature rather than a flaw. It works well for thematic branding and short bursts of copy (logos, chapter openers, pull quotes), and is most effective when given sufficient size and breathing room so the distressed edges remain crisp rather than crowded.

The font conveys a gritty, old-world energy—confident, loud, and intentionally imperfect. Its rough edges and ink-wear character suggest authenticity and craft, with a playful bite that feels at home in thematic or narrative-driven design.

The design appears intended to emulate worn, ink-heavy printing with a deliberately rough finish, combining strong serif shapes with distressed artifacts to create a bold, characterful voice for thematic display typography.

In text, the distressed detailing becomes more apparent, adding grain and visual noise; the bold mass keeps words readable, but the busy edges can accumulate at smaller sizes. Numerals are similarly weighty and textured, matching the headline-forward tone of the letters.
