A high-contrast serif with crisp, hairline serifs and strongly modulated strokes that move from delicate thins to weighty verticals. The letterforms are upright and broadly proportioned, with a stately, open rhythm and clear interior spaces. Serifs are finely bracketed to unbracketed in feel, reading as sharp, precise finishing strokes rather than heavy feet, and many joins resolve into clean, tapered transitions. The lowercase shows traditional, bookish construction (two-storey a and g, sturdy n/m arches), while caps are tall and commanding with elegant hairline crossbars and pointed diagonals.

Best suited to display and headline settings where its contrast and fine serifs can remain crisp—magazine and editorial titling, luxury packaging, brand marks, and book or poster covers. It can also work for short, prominent text blocks such as pull quotes or formal announcements where a sophisticated, classical voice is desired.

The overall tone is polished and authoritative, combining classical refinement with a fashion-forward, editorial edge. Its dramatic contrast and sharp detailing lend a sense of prestige and formality, suited to designs that want to feel elevated and carefully curated.

Designed to deliver a contemporary take on classic high-contrast serif typography: elegant, attention-grabbing, and premium in tone. The wide proportions and precise hairlines suggest an emphasis on refined presence and dramatic typographic hierarchy in editorial and brand-led layouts.

In the text sample, the thin strokes and hairlines become a defining feature, creating a sparkling texture at larger sizes and a more delicate, contrast-driven color as size decreases. Round letters (O/Q/C) emphasize smooth curves against narrow thins, and the numerals carry the same refined modulation with compact, elegant shaping.
