This serif design features pronounced thick–thin modulation with sharp hairlines and smoothly bracketed serifs. Capitals are stately and balanced, with tapered diagonal strokes and crisp terminals that keep the silhouette clean at display sizes. Lowercase forms are compact and orderly, with a two-storey “a,” a single-storey “g” with a rounded bowl and open tail, and narrow, vertical stress in rounded letters. Figures show classic proportions with clear contrast and delicate finishing, matching the text rhythm of the letters.

Well-suited to magazine typography, book interiors, and other editorial settings where a refined, high-contrast serif is desired. It also performs convincingly in headlines, pull quotes, and formal materials such as invitations or cultural-program branding, particularly at medium to large sizes where hairlines and detailing can be appreciated.

The overall tone is polished and traditional, leaning toward an editorial, literary voice. Its high-contrast construction and tidy detailing convey sophistication and restraint rather than warmth or informality, making it feel suited to cultivated, print-oriented typography.

The design appears intended as a conventional text-and-display serif with a classical foundation and an emphasis on elegance through strong contrast and crisp finishing. Its proportions and consistent serif logic suggest a focus on clear typographic hierarchy and a composed, premium reading experience.

In running text the rhythm is even and composed, with fine joinery and careful spacing that supports a calm reading texture. The serif treatment remains consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, reinforcing a cohesive, classical impression.
