A serif text face with crisp, bracketed serifs and subtly flared joins that give vertical strokes a sculpted, chiseled feel. Strokes show noticeable modulation: sturdier verticals paired with thinner connecting strokes and tapered entry/exit terminals. Curves are rounded but controlled, with sharp apexes in letters like A and V and compact bowls in B, P, and R. The lowercase has a traditional rhythm with a two-storey a, a compact, angled-shoulder n, and a sharply cut t with a curved foot; the g reads as a single-storey form with a closed lower bowl. Numerals follow the same engraved logic, with strong verticals, tapered curves, and prominent serifs for steady alignment in text.

Well suited to book interiors, essays, and editorial typography where a traditional serif voice is desired. It can also serve effectively for literary or cultural headlines, museum-style captions, and formal branding that benefits from an engraved, classical mood. The distinctive capitals and sturdy numerals make it practical for title pages, certificates, and program materials.

The overall tone is classical and literary, suggesting printed tradition and formal editorial settings. Its sharp terminals and flared stroke endings add a slightly dramatic, engraved character that feels ceremonial without becoming ornate. The texture reads confident and authoritative, with an old-world warmth rather than a cold, modern precision.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif readability with a carved, flared-stem character that evokes inscriptional lettering. Its controlled modulation and sharp terminals aim to provide a dignified, authoritative tone while maintaining a coherent, text-friendly rhythm.

In the sample text, the font creates a dark, even typographic color with clear word shapes and distinctive capitals. The serifs and flared connections contribute to a slightly angular rhythm, especially in diagonals and in the pointed forms of V, W, and Y, which helps headings and short passages feel emphatic.
