This typeface is a refined serif with pronounced stroke contrast: slender hairlines pair with fuller verticals, and many joins taper into sharp, triangular or wedge-like terminals. Serifs are bracketed but crisp, giving a cut, incisive finish rather than a soft, rounded one. Proportions feel traditional with relatively narrow caps and a calm, even rhythm in text, while the lowercase shows generous bowls and open counters that keep it readable despite the fine detailing. Numerals and capitals share the same high-contrast logic, with distinctive angled cuts and occasional subtle swash-like flourishes on diagonals and tails.

It suits long-form reading contexts such as book interiors, essays, and editorial pages where a classical serif voice is desired. The crisp hairlines and sculpted terminals also make it effective for magazine headlines, pull quotes, and upscale branding, especially at medium-to-large sizes where the fine details can be appreciated.

Overall it conveys a poised, bookish sophistication—formal without feeling heavy. The sharp detailing and high-contrast modulation add a touch of drama and fashion sensibility, while the steady spacing keeps it grounded and composed.

The design appears aimed at a contemporary take on traditional high-contrast book serifs: familiar proportions and dependable text rhythm combined with sharper, more stylized terminals to add distinction in editorial and brand-led typography.

Several shapes show intentionally stylized cuts and asymmetries (notably in diagonals and curved terminals), which give the face personality in display sizes while remaining coherent in paragraph settings. The italic is not shown; all samples appear in an upright roman style.
