A heavy, compact display face built from thick strokes and irregular contours. Terminals and outer edges are aggressively notched and scalloped, creating a distressed silhouette that reads like chipped paint or eroded woodcut type. The forms keep a largely vertical, blocky structure with minimal curvature, while counters are tight and uneven, producing a dense, ink-heavy color. Uppercase letters feel especially stout and poster-like, and the lowercase maintains the same rugged texture with small apertures and simplified joins.

Best used as a headline or display font for posters, title cards, covers, and promotional graphics where a distressed, eerie presence is desirable. It can work well on labels, signage, and merchandise when set large, with generous tracking and simple layouts that let the rough edges remain legible.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, with a B-movie horror energy rather than refined Gothic formality. Its uneven bite marks and blunted spurs evoke decay, grime, and suspense, while the chunky proportions keep it bold and attention-seeking. The result is spooky but also slightly campy—well suited to dramatic, seasonal, or tongue-in-cheek fright aesthetics.

The design appears intended to deliver instant mood through silhouette: a bold, compact framework paired with deliberate edge damage to suggest age, rot, and menace. The letterforms prioritize impact and texture over smooth readability, aiming for a themed, cinematic display voice.

Texture is integral to the design: the distressed edge treatment is consistent across letters and numerals, so the font reads as a unified set rather than a clean face with added noise. At smaller sizes the notches and interior gaps can fill in, so it performs best when given room and strong contrast against the background.
