A high-contrast italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, crisp hairlines, and bracketed serifs that taper to sharp, wedge-like terminals. The forms show a clear rightward slant and a lively rhythm, with slightly variable character widths and generous curves that keep counters open despite the contrast. Capitals are stately and sculpted, while lowercase letters feature calligraphic joins and italic constructions (notably the single-storey a and flowing f), producing a smooth, continuous texture in text. Numerals follow the same contrast and italic angle, with refined curves and delicate finishing strokes.

Well-suited to book and editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, quotations, or extended passages with a classic feel. It also works effectively for refined headings, pull quotes, and formal printed materials that benefit from high-contrast elegance and a pronounced italic cadence.

The overall tone is polished and literary, conveying a sense of classic sophistication and editorial formality. Its energetic italic movement adds warmth and expressiveness without becoming decorative, making it feel poised and cultured.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with elevated contrast and calligraphic refinement, offering a distinct, expressive companion for literary and editorial settings while maintaining disciplined proportions and a traditional typographic character.

In running text the strong diagonal stress and narrow hairlines create a bright, shimmering texture, while the confident serifs and sweeping curves give words a distinctive forward motion. The italic’s shaping reads as deliberately traditional, favoring crisp calligraphic detail over blunt sturdiness.
