A heavy, block-like slab serif with broad proportions and compact counters. The serifs are thick and rectangular with subtle bracketing and occasional notch-like shaping where strokes meet, giving an ink-trap/pressed-print impression. Curves are full and round (notably in C, O, S, and numerals), while joins stay stout and squared, producing a steady, planted rhythm. Lowercase forms are robust and straightforward with single-story a and g, a sturdy r, and a compact, high-shouldered n/m structure; numerals are similarly chunky with strong slabs and minimal delicacy.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, headlines, brand marks, labels, and signage where bold impact is the priority. It can also work for short blocks of copy at larger sizes when a vintage, rugged texture is desired.

The overall tone feels confident and workmanlike, with a throwback flavor associated with traditional signage and collegiate or Western-influenced display lettering. Its mass and squared terminals read as dependable and emphatic rather than refined, lending a bold, declarative voice.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence with a classic slab-serif silhouette, combining broad letterforms, heavy slabs, and slightly shaped joins to evoke traditional print and sign-painting heritage while staying highly legible in display use.

The dense weight and tight internal spaces create strong texture in paragraphs, favoring large sizes. The distinctive slab joins and notched intersections add character that remains visible in headlines and short lines.
