A heavy, block-constructed serif design with chamfered corners and frequent octagonal counters, giving many glyphs a cut-from-metal feel. Strokes stay largely straight and planar, with small bracket-like terminals that read as compact serifs rather than full slabs. Curves are minimized into faceted arcs (notably in O, C, G, and numerals), and joins are crisp, producing a tight, high-impact texture in text. Width varies by letter, but the overall set leans broad and stable, with dense black shapes and clear internal apertures.

Best suited to display applications where strong silhouette and graphic presence matter: team or event identities, badges and marks, posters, packaging, and bold editorial headlines. It can work for short bursts of text when a rugged, vintage-industrial voice is desired, but its dense weight and faceted detailing favor larger sizes and generous spacing.

The face communicates a confident, no-nonsense tone with strong associations to varsity lettering, sports branding, and vintage workwear graphics. Its faceted geometry adds a slightly mechanical, engineered character, making it feel bold and emblematic rather than delicate or literary.

The design appears intended to fuse traditional serif cues with a simplified, geometric, chiseled construction—delivering a classic-but-tough display voice that stays legible while feeling emblematic and crafted.

Lowercase forms follow the same angular logic, mixing compact bowl shapes with squared shoulders and short, sturdy terminals; the single-storey a and g reinforce the constructed, sign-like personality. Numerals are similarly chamfered and uniform in weight, reading clearly at display sizes while forming a dark, impactful line in paragraphs.
