A calligraphic serif face with gently modulated strokes and softly flared terminals that create an inked, hand-drawn rhythm. The letterforms mix smooth, rounded bowls with subtly tapered stems, and show mild irregularity that reads as intentional rather than rough. Serifs are small and often wedge-like, with occasional bracketing; curves finish in tapered, slightly hooked endings (notably on S, J, and y). Proportions are traditional and readable, with open counters, a relatively narrow lowercase, and figures that alternate between straight strokes and rounded, oldstyle-like shaping.

Well-suited to editorial settings where a traditional, humanist voice is desired, such as book interiors, chapter openers, pull quotes, and cultural or academic collateral. It can also work effectively for invitations, labels, and boutique branding where a refined handcrafted tone is helpful, especially at text to display sizes.

The overall tone feels classic and bookish, with a courteous, crafted presence reminiscent of formal handwriting and printed literature. It conveys warmth and refinement without becoming ornate, giving text an inviting, slightly storybook character.

The design appears intended to bridge formal calligraphy and readable serif typography, offering a polished, literary texture with a personal, hand-rendered touch. It prioritizes elegance and continuity in running text while adding just enough flourish in terminals and curves to feel distinctive.

Uppercase forms appear stately and lightly embellished, while the lowercase carries more of the handwritten personality through tapered joins and subtle stroke flicks. The texture on the line is calm and even, but the small variations in terminal shapes and curve tension keep it from looking purely mechanical.
