A weighty display serif with pronounced stroke contrast and a sculpted, flared finish on many verticals. Serifs are sharply wedge-like and often bracketed, with crisp triangular entry/exit points that create a carved, chiseled silhouette. Bowls are compact and dark, counters are relatively tight, and the overall rhythm is assertive with slightly condensed interior spaces. Lowercase forms keep a traditional structure, while details like the curled, teardrop-like tail on the 9 and the strong, tapered diagonals in V/W/X contribute to a distinctly ornamental, engraved feel.

Best suited to display sizes where its strong contrast and flared detailing can be appreciated—editorial headlines, magazine mastheads, book or album covers, and premium packaging. It can also work for short subheads or pull quotes when a classic, authoritative voice is desired.

The tone is bold and ceremonial—evoking old-world print, institutional authority, and headline drama. Its heavy color and sharp serifs give it a confident, slightly theatrical presence that reads as premium and traditional rather than casual or technical.

Designed to deliver high-impact, traditional typography with a refined, engraved character. The flared stroke endings and wedge serifs appear intended to amplify presence in large text while maintaining a classic, literary sensibility.

The uppercase set projects a stately, poster-like impact, while the lowercase retains clear differentiation through strong serifs and sturdy proportions. Numerals match the same sculpted contrast, with especially distinctive curving figures (notably 2, 6, 9) that add personality in large settings.
