A heavily inked, distressed serif with irregular, eroded contours and chunky, uneven stroke endings. The letterforms keep a generally traditional skeleton, but edges wobble and break as if printed from worn type or stamped with inconsistent pressure. Counters are often partially clogged, creating small apertures and a dense silhouette, while serifs appear blunt and battered rather than crisp. Spacing and character widths vary subtly, adding a handmade, imperfect rhythm across words and lines.

Best suited for display use such as posters, headlines, title treatments, and packaging where texture is part of the message. It can work well for book covers, album art, event graphics, and themed branding that benefits from an aged, rugged print feel. For longer text, it will be most effective at larger sizes where the distressed detail remains legible.

The overall tone feels gritty and timeworn, evoking aged print, rough posters, and battered ephemera. Its rough texture reads as loud and expressive, with an intentionally imperfect presence that suggests grit, suspense, and retro character.

The design appears intended to capture the look of worn letterpress or stamped type—keeping recognizable serif structures while adding controlled damage, ink spread, and edge erosion. The goal is a high-impact display face that communicates age, grit, and analog texture rather than polish.

The texture is consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, with especially noticeable edge breakup on vertical stems and terminal serifs. At smaller sizes the distressed detail may visually merge, while larger sizes emphasize the torn, inky surface and create strong graphic impact.
