This typeface is built from sharp, angular strokes with wedge-like terminals and noticeably rough, uneven edges, as if cut or brushed with a dry tool. Forms are generally narrow with inconsistent sidebearings, creating a jittery rhythm and an intentionally irregular texture across words. Counters are small and often triangular or diamond-shaped, and many joins resolve into pointed corners rather than smooth curves, giving the letters a carved, faceted feel. Numerals and punctuation follow the same broken, hand-made logic, maintaining the distressed surface and angular construction.

It works best for display settings where atmosphere matters more than smooth readability—fantasy and RPG titling, horror or occult-themed posters, game menus, album/merch graphics, and event branding that calls for a carved or rune-like voice. Use at larger sizes for maximum impact and to keep intricate distressed details from clogging.

The overall tone feels archaic and ritualistic, evoking runes, fantasy inscriptions, and ominous signage. Its rough, chiseled texture adds grit and tension, reading as more handcrafted and forbidding than friendly. The spiky silhouettes and uneven rhythm suggest mystery, danger, and old-world lore.

The design appears intended to mimic hand-cut lettering—part rune, part rough brush—prioritizing a dramatic, ancient texture and angular silhouettes over typographic regularity. Its inconsistent widths and distressed contours reinforce the illusion of handmade marks and weathered inscription.

In longer text, the strong angularity and distressed edges create a dark, busy color that benefits from generous size and spacing. Capitals dominate visually, while the lowercase appears compact and irregular, contributing to an intentionally unpolished, handmade impression.
