A high-contrast roman with a predominantly vertical axis and crisp transitions between thick stems and hairline joins. Strokes end in flared, wedge-like terminals rather than bracketed serifs, giving the forms a clean, carved finish while still feeling typographic and structured. Capitals are tall and stately with narrow counters and sharp apexes (notably in A, V, W, and Y), and the lowercase shows compact, sturdy bowls with defined shoulders. Numerals are similarly bold in silhouette with pronounced thick–thin rhythm and strong vertical emphasis.

This face is well suited to headlines, magazine display typography, posters, and brand marks where high contrast and crisp terminals can read as premium and intentional. It can also work for short blocks of editorial text or pull quotes when set at comfortable sizes with adequate leading to preserve the hairline details.

The font projects an editorial, old-world sophistication with a firm, declarative voice. Its sharp contrast and flared endings create a sense of craft and refinement, lending text a confident, slightly dramatic tone without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended to merge a modern, serifless outline with the authority and contrast of classical roman construction. By using flared terminals instead of full serifs, it aims to stay clean and contemporary while retaining a strong editorial presence and a distinctive, sculpted finish.

In paragraphs, the rhythm is driven by dark vertical stems and bright internal counters, producing a punchy texture that reads best when given ample size or spacing. The distinctive wedge terminals and tapered joins make it especially recognizable in headings, while the overall construction remains disciplined and consistent across letters and numerals.
