A compact, high-contrast slab-serif with crisp, square-ended serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Stems are heavy and vertical, while curves swell into rounded bowls that end in flat, blocky terminals, creating a distinctive push–pull rhythm across letters. The capitals are broad with strong horizontals and sturdy feet; the lowercase shows a notably small x-height, tall ascenders, and generous counters that keep the dense strokes readable. Overall spacing and proportions favor a bold, poster-like presence, with a slightly idiosyncratic, vintage construction in curves and joins.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, posters, and branding where strong contrast and chunky slabs can be appreciated at size. It can also work for editorial display typography and packaging that wants a vintage or literary voice, but the dense weight and short x-height make it less ideal for extended small-size body text.

The tone is confident and theatrical, mixing old-style book typography cues with a punchy, attention-grabbing weight. Its sharp slabs and swelling curves suggest a historical, editorial flavor—evoking printed ephemera, classic headlines, and ornate signage—while remaining structured and upright.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, classic display serif with emphatic slab finishing and dramatic contrast, prioritizing impact and character over neutrality. Its proportions and pronounced terminals suggest a deliberate nod to historical print styles adapted for modern, attention-focused applications.

Round letters like O/Q and numerals such as 0/8/9 appear especially dominant due to large circular forms paired with abrupt, flat terminals. The lowercase includes prominent, rounded bowls (a, b, d, p, q) and a sturdy, utilitarian rhythm in straight-sided letters, giving text a distinctive texture at larger sizes.
