This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with crisp, wedge-like terminals and delicately bracketed serifs. Capitals are stately and open, with a wide, round O and a Q featuring a compact tail; diagonals (V, W, X) are sharp and clean. Lowercase forms keep a traditional text rhythm with a relatively modest x-height, narrow apertures in letters like c and e, and a two-storey a paired with a compact, sturdy g. Numerals are similarly contrasty and old-style in feeling, with curved strokes and fine joins that emphasize a printed-book texture.

Well suited to book and long-form editorial settings where a classic serif voice is desired, and it can also serve as a sophisticated choice for magazine typography, formal announcements, and invitation-style layouts. It will be particularly effective at comfortable text sizes and in headings where its contrast and crisp terminals can show clearly.

The overall tone is traditional and cultivated, evoking book typography and established editorial design. Its high-contrast drawing and pointed terminals lend a refined, slightly dramatic presence that reads as formal rather than casual.

The design intention appears to be a conventional, literature-oriented serif with a refined, high-contrast structure that balances readability with a polished, formal character.

In text, the face produces a clear vertical cadence and a bright page color, with fine hairlines that become especially noticeable in smaller details (crossbars, joins, and interior counters). The design feels optimized for elegant composition where spacing and leading can support its delicate stroke transitions.
