A heavy, display-oriented sans with chunky, rounded structures and compact counters. The outlines are intentionally roughened, with chipped corners and irregular, pitted interior voids that read like worn ink or eroded stencil paint. Strokes stay generally monolinear in feel, while the distressed texture introduces strong local contrast and uneven edge rhythm. Spacing is fairly open for the weight, helping the dense shapes remain legible, and numerals match the same bold proportions and rough texture.

Best suited to short, large-scale text where the distressed texture can be clearly seen—posters, headlines, branded graphics, labels, and merchandise. It can also work for punchy pull quotes or section headers, but the heavy texture may reduce clarity at small sizes or in dense paragraphs.

The overall tone is gritty and energetic, suggesting age, abrasion, and imperfect printing. It feels informal and streetwise, with a hint of retro poster texture—more expressive than refined, and designed to look “lived-in” rather than pristine.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, attention-grabbing silhouette while adding a pre-worn, imperfect surface—evoking distressed printing, scuffed signage, or ink-heavy letterpress. The goal is impact first, with texture doing much of the stylistic storytelling.

Distressing is consistent across the set, with repeating speckle-and-chip patterns that create a cohesive texture at headline sizes. Round letters (O, Q, C) show especially prominent interior pitting, while verticals (I, H, E) keep strong, blocky silhouettes that preserve readability despite the erosion.
