This serif typeface shows tapered, slightly flared stroke endings and softly bracketed serifs, giving the stems a gently swelling finish rather than blunt terminals. Contrast is moderate, with clear thick–thin modulation that reads consistently across capitals, lowercase, and numerals. Proportions are compact in the lowercase with a relatively short x-height and pronounced ascenders, while counters remain open and well-shaped for text. Curves are smooth and round (notably in C, O, Q, and S), and diagonals and joins have a subtly calligraphic feel, producing an even, classical rhythm in paragraphs.

It is well suited to book interiors, essays, and editorial layouts where a calm, classical serif texture is desirable. The sturdy capitals and distinctive flared finishing also make it appropriate for headings, pull quotes, and formal materials such as programs or invitations, especially in print contexts.

The overall tone is traditional and bookish, with an understated formality that feels at home in literary and institutional settings. Its flared endings add a crafted, humanist warmth, avoiding the starkness of sharper modern serifs while still maintaining a confident, authoritative voice.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif conventions with subtly flared, calligraphic finishing to create a readable text face that feels crafted rather than mechanical. It aims for a balanced page color and a traditional voice, with details that add personality without compromising clarity.

The capitals appear dignified and stable with generous internal space, while the lowercase keeps a steady texture suitable for continuous reading. Numerals appear oldstyle and integrate naturally with text, reinforcing a text-first, editorial character.
