This typeface is built from sharply tapered, brush-like strokes that flare and pinch dramatically, creating a jagged, blade-cut silhouette. Forms lean forward with a lively, erratic rhythm, mixing long ascenders and descenders with compact counters and occasional open, calligraphic curves (notably in round letters). Terminals end in needle points and hooked flicks, and the overall texture alternates between thin hairlines and thicker wedges, producing a tense, scratch-mark pattern across a line of text.

Best suited to short display settings where atmosphere is the goal: horror and thriller titles, Halloween promotions, game splash screens, album artwork, and event posters. It can also work for logo marks or packaging accents when you want an aggressive, hand-slashed tone, but it’s less appropriate for long passages where sustained readability is required.

The letterforms evoke slashed ink, clawed signage, and ritual-note calligraphy, giving the font an ominous, supernatural edge. Its restless angles and staccato strokes feel urgent and threatening rather than friendly or decorative.

The design appears intended to mimic fast, sharp brush lettering and carved slashes, translating that gesture into a consistent alphabet for spooky, high-impact display typography. Its exaggerated tapers and pointed terminals prioritize mood and dramatic texture over quiet neutrality.

Capitals read as expressive display shapes with strong personality, while lowercase maintains the same spined, handwritten energy with tall verticals and tight bowls. Numerals match the angular, cut-stroke logic and keep the set visually cohesive for titles that mix letters and numbers.
