A condensed display serif with pronounced contrast and sharply tapered, flaring stroke endings that read like modernized wedge serifs. Vertical stems are dominant and dark, while curves and diagonals thin quickly, creating a crisp, chiseled rhythm. Counters are compact and apertures tend to be tight, which amplifies the dense color on the line. The lowercase shows energetic, slightly idiosyncratic shaping (notably in bowls and tails), while numerals and caps maintain a formal, sculpted presence.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and prominent display lines where its condensed width and dramatic contrast can carry impact. It can also work well for brand marks, packaging titles, and event or cultural posters that benefit from a bold, vintage-leaning voice. For longer text, it will be most comfortable at larger sizes with generous leading.

The overall tone feels assertive and theatrical—classic in spirit but with a stylized, almost poster-like edge. Its sharp tapers and high-contrast modulation suggest drama and prestige rather than neutrality, evoking editorial headlines and vintage display typography.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence in limited horizontal space, pairing a condensed skeleton with flared, tapering endings for a sculptural, high-impact silhouette. Its letterforms prioritize character and contrast to create a memorable, editorial display texture.

In text settings the font produces a strong, dark texture with noticeable vertical emphasis; the tight interior spaces and pointed terminals can become visually busy at smaller sizes. The design’s distinctive flare and tapering make it especially recognizable in short bursts such as titles and pull quotes.
