A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and tapered stroke endings that flare subtly as they approach the terminals. Serifs are sharp and bracketed, with triangular, chiseled shapes that give strokes a sculpted, calligraphic finish rather than blunt cuts. Capitals are sturdy and wide-shouldered with deep internal joins in letters like M and N, while round forms (O, C, G) show a slightly sheared stress and crisp, clean curves. The lowercase combines compact bowls with assertive ascenders and a lively, hooked g and y, producing a strong rhythm in text; numerals follow the same model with bold weight, high contrast, and crisp finishing details.

Best suited for display typography such as headlines, magazine features, and book or album covers where its contrast and sharp finishing can be appreciated. It also works well for branding, packaging, and formal promotional materials that benefit from a confident, classic voice.

The overall tone is authoritative and traditional, with a dramatic, editorial presence. Its sharp, flared finishing and strong contrast add a sense of sophistication and ceremony, suited to contexts that want to feel established and premium.

The design appears intended to deliver a strong, high-contrast reading experience with a refined, engraved-like finish. By combining robust weight with flared, bracketed terminals, it aims to project heritage and credibility while staying visually striking in modern layouts.

In running text the dense color and energetic terminals create a punchy texture, while the flared endings keep forms from feeling rigidly mechanical. The design reads as contemporary-classic: historically informed proportions paired with crisp, modern edges.
