This typeface is a slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp hairline terminals. Serifs are bracketed and delicately tapered, with pointed, calligraphic-looking ends on many strokes. The caps show classical proportions and a measured rhythm, with smoothly modeled curves (notably in C, G, O, Q) and sharp, clean joins. Lowercase forms are compact and fluid, with narrow entry/exit strokes and a single-story italic-style a; counters stay open despite the contrast, giving the face a bright, polished texture. Numerals share the same italic stress and high-contrast construction, with lively diagonals and fine finishing details.

Well-suited to magazine typography, book interiors, and other editorial contexts where an elegant italic voice is needed for emphasis or primary setting. It also fits refined headlines, pull quotes, and formal materials such as invitations or announcements where a classical, high-finish serif feel is desirable.

The overall tone is sophisticated and bookish, evoking traditional publishing and formal correspondence. Its sharp modulation and sculpted serifs lend a sense of luxury and authority, while the consistent slant adds motion and warmth rather than stiffness.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional text-serif foundation with an expressive italic character—combining classical proportions, strong stroke contrast, and precise finishing for a polished reading and display experience.

In text, the strong contrast creates a sparkling page color and clear word shapes, especially at display and editorial sizes. The slanted forms and hairline details suggest it benefits from adequate size and good reproduction conditions to preserve the fine strokes.
